While On A Visit To Sir Dr Barrister Ntunfor Nico HALLE Award Gallery, Mgr KLEDA Said The Absence Of Peace In Cameroon, Is Because There Is No Justice. Mgr KLEDA Thanked God For All What NICO HALLE Is Doing, In His Crusade For Peace And Justice, And His Fight Against Corruption And Hate Speech, For The Interest Of Humanity And Society.
The Metropolitan Archbishop of Douala, His Grace Samuel Kleda, reputed for his outspokenness, has asserted that no honest person can claim that there is genuine peace in Cameroon, when there are gun shots here and there. “Real Peace is not only the absence of war. We really need peace in Cameroon. The gun shots, being fired here and there in the country, means that we don’t have real peace. We all need to work together to bring peace to our country”, Mgr Kleda has stressed.
The Archbishop of Douala, Samuel Kleda, was speaking during a visit to Sir Dr Barrister Ntumfor Nico Halle Award Gallery at SHALLOM Building in Bonaberi, Douala, on Thursday, September 22, 2026. He was accompanied by the Bishop of Moudou Diocese in Chad, Mgr Joachin Kouraleyo Tarounga, who was on a visit to Cameroon, as well as by some of his close collaborators at the Douala Archdiocese.
Worthy of note, that there are currently a total of 212 national and internal awards and distinctions in the Sir Dr Barrister Ntumfor Nico Halle Award Gallery. The national and international awards and distinctions are in recognition, appreciation, or an encouragement for the several good things that Sir Dr Barrister Ntumfor Nico Halle has been doing over the years for humanity and society. These include Nico Halle’s Crusade for Peace and Justice, and his Fight against Corruption which include embezzlement, as well as his Fight against Hate Speech and all forms of deviant behaviors.
It should be noted that some 50 % of the awards and distinctions that Sir Dr Barrister Ntumfor Nico Halle has received as of date, are in the domain of Peace, or better still, Peace Crusading, which is like Nico Halle’s trademark.
No Justice, No Peace / Corruption
Meanwhile, the highlights of the occasion or the visit of the Metropolitan Archbishop of Douala, Samuel Kleda , to Sir Dr Barrister Ntumfor Nico Halle Award Gallery, included a working session which held in the conference room of the Nico Halle & Co Law Firm, and the visit proper to the award gallery.
Speaking on the importance of peace during the occasion, Archbishop Samuel Kleda corroborated what Nico Halle, the Crusader for Peace and Justice, always says, that there can be no genuine peace in a society without justice, for both are interwoven, or they go hand –in- hand. Insisting on the fact there is no real peace in Cameroon today, Mgr Kleda, attributed the situation to the fact that there no justice in the country. He asserted that when there is real justice in a society or country, there is peace, as the presence of justice creates conducive atmosphere, or environment, for peace to exist.
Still talking about justice, Mgr Kleda stressed the fact that lawyers have an important role to play for justice to prevail in our society or country. He said the court is an institution that is supposed to restore justice to those deprived of justice, or better still, those that have faced injustice. He said courts are thus supposed to be “Courts of Justice”. But Mgr Kleda in his typical bluntness, said today, some “Courts of Justice’ in Cameroon, have become “Courts of Injustice”, considering the controversial, unjust or unfair decisions or judgments, they deliver.
Archbishop Kleda also talked about corruption, which has since become like a canker worm in Cameroon, and with a lot of devastating effects on the country. “Corruption is destroying our country”, Kleda wept. The Man –of – God opined that the day corruption, that includes embezzlement, will be curbed in Cameroon, that day, genuine change will come to the country.
Thank God For What Nico Halle Is Doing For Humanity
Turning to Sir Dr Barrister Nico Halle, the Archbishop of Douala, His Grace Samuel Kleda, said he and his colleague from neighbouring Chad, and some of his close collaborators that constituted the delegation he led, were honoured to visit the Sir Dr Barrister Ntumfor Nico Halle Award Gallery. He said they were happy and quite impressed with all what they saw in the award gallery, asserting the fact that the national and international awards are a reflection of the good work that Nico Halle has done, and continues to do for the interest of humanity, society, and the world at large.
Mgr Kleda thanked God for what Sir Dr Barrister Ntumfor Nico Halle has done, and continues to do for humanity and society, through his untiring Crusade for Peace and Justice, and his Fight against Corruption, Hate Speech and other ills in the society. He stressed the fact that, it is God that gives Nico Halle the force to do all the good work he is doing for humanity and the society, for without God, one cannot achieve any good thing. He was happy that Nico Halle is highly committed Christian or a true child of God, and puts everything in the hands of the Almighty. “God is the foundation of all god things, and I am happy that Nico Halle puts everything in the hands of God. May God continue to give him the force, to continue to do the good work he is doing, towards the building of a world of peace and justice”, Mgr Kleda prayed.

The outspoken Archbishop of Douala, Mgr Samuel Kleda, congratulated Sir Dr Barrister Ntumfor Nico Halle for all he has been doing for humanity, the society, and the world large, as reflected in the over 200 national and international distinctions and awards he has received, in recognition, appreciation and encouragement of what he has been doing in his Crusade for Peace and Justice, and his Fight against Corruption, Hate Speech, and other societal ills.
“What Nico Halle is doing, is supposed to inspire all Cameroonians (of goodwill). We are very satisfied, we are happy. We express our humble recognition of what Nico Halle is doing, and we congratulate him as well as encourage him to continue, and we hope he can take along in the crusades, those that are following him, to emulate his good example. We associate ourselves with all the good things Nico Halle has done, and continues to do for the good of humanity and society”, Mgr Kleda declared.
