Southwest Chiefs Conference To Organise Annual Cultural Festival

The Southwest Chiefs Conference has in a release informed the population of the Southwest Region, that the association has instituted an annual Southwest Cultural Festival, to take place in the second week of December in Buea, the regional headquarter.

“The Chiefs invite the population of the Southwest Region in particular, Cameroonians in general and the international community, to be part of these celebrations that will showcase the beauty of the Southwest culture and the hospitality of the people of the Southwest Region”, the release states.

Activities of the annual Southwest Cultural Festival which will start this year (second week of December 2024), will include: 1) Traditional Dance. 2) Fashion Parade. 3) Excursion To Touristic Sites. 4) Discourses On Investment Opportunities In The Southwest Region. 5) Debates On Various Topics.

“We look forward to having you in our midst, come the second week of December”, the Southwest Chief Conference’s communiqué jointly signed by the President, HRM Moses Obenofunde, and Secretary General, HRM Ekoka Molindo, concludes.
