In A Communiqué Issued In Douala, Henri Moukoko, Father Of The Late Student, Points Out For Example, That While It Was Clearly Stated In A Document He Was Given By Laquintinie Hospital (Littoral Regional Hospital) To Sign As Father Of Decease, That Her Daughter Was Brought To Hospital Dead, The School Authorities, Who He As Well Points Out Are ‘Religious Persons”, Continue To Claim Through Some Other Persons, That She Died In Hospital.

Henri Moukoko, the father of late Ozanne Essoe Moukoko, who has since the sudden death of the daughter been insisting that the 12 year old girl, who was a Form 2 student at ‘College de la Salle’, Douala, died from sexual violence at the school, has finally come out with a communiqué, in which he explains why he and his family are insisting that Ozanne, died from sexual violence at the school (a Catholic technical college).
Why Administration Blocked Press Conference

It should first of all be recalled that, Henri Moukoko earlier wanted to make the disclosures at a press conference in Douala, precisely back on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. He said then that he wanted to present to the public the evidences that his family had in possession, to justify their insistence on the fact that their daughter ( Ozanne Essoe Moukoko) , died from Sexual violence at ‘College de la Salle’ on, the fateful day of September 18, 2026, and not from a malaise as the school authorities were trying to manipulate things to make people believe.

But when journalists arrived at the main entrance of ‘College de la Salle’ for the press conference on that Wednesday, September 23, 2025, they realized that the whole place was flooded by security forces deployed by the local administration, to block the event from holding.

One of the problems with the press conference, as some local administrative sources explained, was that Henri Moukoko had no authorization to hold the public event, and also that he wanted to hold the press conference at the main entrance or main gate of ‘College de la Salle”, which was not considered appropriate. Also, the local administration did not also find the holding of the press conference appropriate, considering that the Governor of the Littoral Region had the day before, that is, on Tuesday, September 22, visited both ‘College de la Salle’, and the residence of the parents of the late student (Ozanne Essoe Moukoko), at the end of which he announced that a judicial investigation had been opened into the death of the 12 year old student.

The Three Initial Hypotheses As To Where Ozanne Essoe Moukoko, Died

Meanwhile, as The Mentor also reported earlier, one of the major problems over the death of the 12 year old Form 2 Student, Ozanne Essoe Moukoko, was that there were initially three different versions of the story, as to where the 12 year old student, died. One of the versions was that Ozanne Moukoko, was found dead at the school toilet. A second version was that she was found unconscious at the school toilet, and that when she was rushed to the hospital, precisely to the Laquintinie Hospital (Littoral Regional Hospital), she was confirmed dead. This meant that she died before reaching the hospital, or better still, that she did not die at the hospital.

The third version, which is what the administration of ‘College del la Salle’ claimed, was that the young student, Ozanne Moukoko , was found unconscious in the school toilet, rushed to Laquintinie Hospital, and that she unfortunately passed away at the hospital.

It Was A Teacher, And Not School Administration, That Called Father Of Ozanne Moukoko

Meanwhile, according to Henri Moukoko (father of the late Ozanne), in the communiqué issued in Douala , he received a call at about 5.07 pm on that fateful day (Friday, September 18, 2026), from a teacher of ‘College de la Salle”, who informed him that the daughter suffered from a malaise, and was rushed to the Laquintinie Hospital. He said when he tried to find out from the teacher some details about the malaise, the teacher told him that he was not on school campus when the incident occurred, and that it was the school administration that asked him to make the call. It was curious that the school administration did not make the call, and instead told a teacher, who was not even present on the school campus, at the time the incident occurred, to do so.

Hospital Report Contradicts Claim By ‘College De La Salle”, That The Student Died In Hospital

Whatever the case, Henri Moukoko, said when he got to Laquintinie Hospital, he went straight to the emergency ward of the Pediatric Section, where he was told the daughter had been transported to. He said when he got to the ward, he met an official of “College de la Salle’ outside the ward, who gave him the shocking message: “Elle est passee”, that is, “She has passed away”. That, his daughter, Ozanne, was dead. It sounded to him more like a nightmare that a reality.

Henri Mouko said he was still in shock, and lost in confusion, when a medical staff of the hospital, brought a document for him to sign as the father of the decease. He said it was clearly stated in the document, that his daughter was brought to the hospital already dead. This is what Henri Moukoko, says in the communiqué in French: “Le personnel medical de l’Hopital Laquintinie, venu a ma recontre, m’a soumis un document a signer. Ce document precisait clairement que ma fille, a son arrivee a l’hospital, etait decedee”. That his daughter was already dead by the time she was brought to the hospital.

This clearly contradicted what the school officials told Henri Moukoko. The school claimed that Ozanne was rushed to the hospital alive, and that she passed away while in the hospital. The fun in the whole thing was that the school authorities did not directly challenge the hospital’s report, to the hospital administration. Rather, they were instead trying to convince the father of the late student, that her daughter was taken to the hospital alive, and that she thus died in the hospital. Henri Moukoko of course was not that foolish, to believe that. He said at that stage, there were now two hypotheses left in his mind, which was that either her daughter died on the school premises, or she died when she was being taken to the hospital. He also added that one thing was certain to him from that moment, and it that what caused of the death of her daughter, happened at the school (‘College de la Salle’)..

School Authorities Not To Be Trusted

Meanwhile at that stage also, Henri Moukoko says he felt that the authorities of ‘College de la Salle’ were not being honest to him on the issue of the daughter’s death, and that they were trying to hide something related to the death of his daughter. At that point, he resolved to take his responsibility as the father of the late Ozanne Essoe Moukoko, and leave no stone unturned, to try to find out the real cause or causes of the death of his daughter.

In the communiqué or press release that Henri Moukoko, the father of late Ozanne Essoe Moukoko, has issued in relation to the daughter’s death from allege sexual violence at ‘College de la Salle’ in Douala, he has expressed, shock, disgust and condemnation, that the authorities of the mission school, or those he termed terms ‘religious’, should be manipulating or trying to cover up the real cause of the death of a student, because they want to protect the image of the school.

It would be recalled that Late Ozanne Moukoko’s father, back on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, declared to the media in the presence of the Littoral Governor, Dieudonne Ivaha Diboua, that her daughter died from sexual violence, and denounced any attempt to cover the truth. He vowed that he would stop at nothing, to ensure that the truth prevails over the real cause of the death of his beloved daughter.

Henri Moukoko and late 12 year daughter, Ozanne Essoe Moukoko

Ozanne Essoe Moukoko Was 11 Years, 11 Month Old

Meanwhile as has been observed, there has been no unanimity in the media, on the age at which Ozanne Moukoko died. Some media organs talk of 12 years, while some talk of 11 years. The father of late Ozanne stated in the communiqué he issued with precision, that she died at the age of 11 years, 11 months. That is, she was just one month short of being 12 years, or that she was 11 months older than 11 years. Even in the family of the late Ozanne, some people prefer to say that she died at the age of 11 years, while some prefer to say she died at the age of 12.
