The Corpse Of JOANA NINI NTUNE Epse MoCHIGGLE , Who Passed Away In The USA On April 21, 2026, Will Arrive The Nsimalen International Airport In Yaounde, Cameroon, At 8 pm Today (Friday, June 3, 2026). The Funeral Started In Maryland, USA On June 26 & 27, Where Ceremonies Were Organized By The Family, EXSSA USA, And Friends, To Bid Farewell To Aunty JOAN

 

The casket bearing the corpse of Late Joana Nini Ntune epse Mouchiggle, or better still, Joana Nini Mouchiggle nee Ntune, is expected to arrive at the Nsimalen International Airport in Yaounde, Cameroon, from Maryland in the United States of America, at 8 pm today (Friday, July 3, 2026).
Worthy of note, that the husband of the decease, Yaounde based Senator Vanigansen Mochiggle, who is a prominent elite of Bali Nyonga in Mezam Division of the Northwest Region, is the 1st Vice National Chairman of the SDF Party, as well as one of the Vice Presidents of the Cameroon Senate. Following the passing away of his wife, Senator Mochiggle flew to the United States, to make arrangement for the wife’s corpse to be transferred to Cameroon, for burial.

Meanwhile, according to the funeral programme jointly put out by the Mochiggle and Ntune families, there will be benediction at the Nsimalen International Airport, after the arrival of the copse of Late Joana Nini Ntune espe Mochiggle. After the benediction, the corpse will then be transported to ‘Chapelle St Esprit’ at Mvolye, Yaounde, where the wake keeping will take place. That is said to be where Senator Mochiggle, worships.

Then at 12 pm (noon) tomorrow Saturday, July 4, 2026, there will be a Requiem Mass at the ‘Cathedrale Notre Dame des Victoires’ in Yaounde , followed at 2 pm by a “Private Burial”. At the same 2 pm, there will, be a reception at the high –class ‘Restaurant des Cascades de Mfoundi’, in Yaounde.

First Phase Of Funeral Took Place In The United States On June 26 And 27, 2026

Meanwhile, it should be noted that the funeral of Late Joana Nini Ntune epse Mochiggle , was programmed in two phases. The first phases took place in the State of Maryland, United States of America, where the decease lived for several years, on June 26 and 2027, 2026. A number of events were organized to celebrate what was termed “the Beautiful Life of Joana Nini Ntune espe Mochiggle”, who was fondly called Aunty Joan, by many, including members of EXSSA USA. The Bible verse that was selected for the ceremonies or events in the United States, was John 11:25 – 26: Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they will die, and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

The first phase of the funeral in the State of Maryland in the USA, started on Friday, June 26, 2026 with the viewing of the corpse of Late Joana Nini Ntune epse Mochiiggle, at Philip Rinaldi Funeral Services , 9241 Columbia Boulevard , Silver Spring, Maryland 20910, as from 5 pm – 9 pm. On Saturday, June 27, 2026, there was, ”A Life Honouring Dinner” (a sit –down dinner), to celebrate the beautiful life of Late Joan Nini Ntune espe Mochiggle, at 5049 Garrett Avenue, Beltville, MD 20705

It should be noted that Joan Nini Ntune espe Mochiggle, was an ex student of Saker Baptist College, Limbe, and while in the United States of America, was an active member of the Ex-Saker Students Association, USA (ESSSA USA). In line with the association’s tradition, EXSSA USA organized a ceremony in the State of Maryland, to bid farewell to the department member, Joan Nini Ntune espe Mochiggle. The ceremony was chaired by the Vice President of EXSSA USA, Patricia Atekwana Ejoh. The casket bearing the corpse of the late member of the association, Aunty Joan, was brought to the solemn ceremony, covered with the fabric or cloth of EXSSA. Still in line with the tradition of EXSSA, the cloth was at the end of the event removed from the casket, and handed over to one of the daughters of the deceased member.

 

It should be noted that according to EXSSA USA, Joan Nini Nrune espe Muchiggle , who was fondly known as Aunty Joan, and who was born in 1950, entered Saker Baptist College in the then Victoria, in 1962 She Was Student No. 28, or Girl No.28. Class 1962, or better still, “SBC Class of 1966 PIONEER”.
