During A Visit To Sir Dr Barrister Ntumfor Nico Halle Award Gallery, The SG Of CCIMA, HALIDOU BELLO, Hailed NICO HALLE As A Man Of Integrity, A Patriot, A Hardworking Man, And A Man Who Loves Humanity, As Seen In His Crusade For Peace, And The Fight Against Corruption. Meanwhile, NICO HALLE Says Awards Mean Nothing, Unless They Are Used To God’s Glory.

Halidou Bello, the Secretary General of Cameroon’s Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Crafts commonly known by the French acronym, CCIMA, has asserted that the over 200 national and international distinctions and awards, that have been received by the renowned International Crusader for Peace and Justice, Sir Dr Barrister Ntumfor Nico Halle, who is also highly engaged in the fight against Corruption, Hate Speech and Xenophobia, do not only bring honour to the Halle as an Individual, but to the entire country as well.
The CCIMA Secretary General was speaking to the media at the end of a visit to the Sir Dr Barrister Ntumfor Nico Halle Award Gallery in Douala, on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. Worthy of note that he was accompanied on the visit by some of his close collaborators, who included the Head of the Communication Service at CCIMA, Dr Charles Akoh, a senior journalist.
“Barrister Nico Halle Is A Hardworking Man”
Meanwhile, the Secretary General of the Chamber of Commerce also told the media that he was in fact quite impressed with what he saw at the Sir Dr Barrister Ntumfor Nico Halle Award Gallery. That is, the quality and record number of over 200 national and international awards and distinctions, received by Nico Halle alone. He said he was however not surprised because Nico Halle is a very hardworking man, and a personality with high moral standing in the society, and so he had no iota of doubt that Halle merited all the distinctions and awards that he received. He said the awards and distinctions were an expression of recognition by organizations, associations, groups and institutions, for what Nico Halle has been doing for humanity and society, as well as served as encouragement for him to continue in his noble mission.

A Man Of Integrity
In that light, the Secretary General of CCIMA hailed Nico Halle’s humanitarian spirit or love for humanity and society, his integrity, his patriotism and courage, as reflected in his peace crusade, his crusade for social justice, as well as his fight against corruption, hate speech and xenophobia. He rightly argued that one cannot seriously engage in the fight against corruption, as Sir Dr Barrister Ntumfor Nico Halle is doing, if his hands are not clean, or better still, if he has skeletons in his cupboard, for one must seek equity with clean hands. He stressed that if Halle is able to standup against corruption, it is because he is a man of integrity. The Secretary General of CCIMA stressed on the importance of integrity (morality) and rigour, and prayed for eh values to be embraced by Cameroonians, for the good of humanity and society or country.
Halidou Bello, a former State Inspector at the Supreme State Audit, said from his personal experience as well as observation, if a personality has to wage a war against corruption in the society as Nico Halle is doing, he must besides being a man of integrity, also be a courageous person, because the numerous corrupt persons around, who are unscrupulous and really vicious, will definitely try to fight him, or even try to destroy him. He as well asserted that the fight against corruption is both a humanitarian and patriotic mission, as only somebody with a humanitarian spirit, and who is a patriot, can put his life at risk to fight against corruption, for the interest of the country and its people. He encouraged Nico Halle to continue his noble mission of crusading for peace and fighting against corruption, for the interest of humanity and the society or country. He lauded Nico Halle’s significant contribution to nation building.

Nico Halle Says Awards Only Mean Something, If One Uses Them To God’s Glory And Honour
Meanwhile speaking to the media, Sir Dr Barrister Ntumfor Nico Hlalle on his part saluted the visit of the Secretary General of the Chamber of Commerce, Halidou Bello, whom he preferred to call the Chief of Staff at the Chamber of Commerce. He said the visit of the Chief of Staff and his entourage to the awards gallery, was not only heartwarming, but a blessing. He reiterated what he has always said, that the Sir Dr Barrister Ntumfor Nico Halle, which today counts a total of 207 national and international distinctions and awards, does not belongs to him, but rather belongs to the country (Cameroon), Africa and the world at large. “As you people have seen for yourselves, the awards, certificates, trophies, recognitions and distinctions in the gallery, come from across the world”, he pointed out. Halle thanked God for all what he has been able to achieve.
But Sir Dr Barrister Ntumfor Nico Halle, who has received a record number of 207 national and international distinctions and awards, said awards are nothing unless the person who receives them , use them to God’s glory and honour. Halle thus said the question that the recipient of awards should thus always ask himself, is if he is using the award to God’s glory and honour. “Are you using the awards to impact society? Are you using the awards to fight against corruption which is so entrenched? Are you using them to crusade for peace which we need so badly? Are you using them to fight moral decadence? Or you are just contented that you have awards?”, Halle questioned.

Halle Says The Rule Of Love Should Replace The Rule Of Law That Has Failed
The International Peace Crusader, Sir Dr Barrister Ntumfor Nico Halle, also once more stressed on the notion he has come up with, , that is, the call for people across the world to embrace the Rule of Love in the place of Rule of Law, which he says has failed. “The world has unfortunately been turned upside down. The ecosystem has been turned upside down, Shredded. From all indications, the Rule of Law has failed across the world. We agree that the whole world have unfortunately become a rubble – Wars here and there, misery here and there, fights here and there, whereas we have constitutions that constitute the will of the people. The world over, nobody respects constitutions anymore. Nobody respects Laws anymore. That is why though Africa is blessed with a lot of natural resources, there is poverty everywhere. There is misery everywhere. It is also because the Rule of Law has failed, that the rigging of elections is so heavy in Africa, and beyond. It is so shameful that we are not serving God”, Halle fumed.
Nico Halle explained that it is in consideration of the fact, that, the Rule of Law has failed the world over, that he has come up with the notion of the Rule of Love. He called on people across the world, to strive to embrace the Rule of Love, in the place of the Rule of Law that he says has failed. “Without love, there is nothing positive that can happen to a people. That is why I am promoting the Rule of Love”.

Need To Promote Moralization
Sir Dr Barrister Ntumfor Nico Halle regretted as well, that in Cameroon, religious knowledge continues to be ignored by authorities, even as the rate of juvenile delinquency continues to rise. He pointed out in pains, that when there is a communiqué announcing a competitive examination or admission into a higher institution for example, it is said that interested candidates or applicants should have 4 GCE O/L papers without religious knowledge, or 2 GCE A/L papers without religious knowledge. “What type of society, can we be growing, without God?” , he questioned.
Expressing concern about the increasing rate of moral decadence in the society, Nico Halle observed that the youths are learning fast the negative things that they see in society. He questioned the future of the nation, considering what is happening. He said that is why he has been hammering on the imperativeness or necessity to effectively promote real rigour and moralization in the society. “When we promote rigour and moralization, we will inculcate the spirit (of rigour and moralization) into our sons and daughters, including those that today are learning just the negative things they see around”, Halle asserted.
