At The Launch of His Book, “The Socio – Economic, Political, Scientific, Military & Spiritual Aspect Of The Holy Spirit:

Apostle Dr Ambe Valentine Ngwa Says Religion Is Not A Curse In Africa. “The problem is that religion has been abused in Africa. Believers should go beyond prayers, beyond intellectualism”

“When believers shy away from the Executive, Legislative and Judiciary arms of government, the occults, Freemasons take up the positions and make up laws that work against the will of God, for the Land”

“The Bible says that when the righteous rule, the people rejoice. The righteous do not, and will not rule, by prayer. They will do so through vote count. If we do not take up this responsibility by presenting Christian candidates for elections, we will continue to complain in vain”

“This book is actually calling on Christians to understand the full potentials of the Spirit of God in their lives, and not limit Him just in praying with other tongues with Him. He is way beyond just a praying Guide, but the Spirit of creativity and inventions”.

Apostle Dr Ambe Valentine Ngwa, who among other things is the founder of the church, LIVING WORD OF PROPHESY TABERNACLE, has declared that religion is not a curse in Africa many people think, but that the problem is rather that religion has been abused in Africa. He made the declaration in Douala on March 9, 2024, during the launching of his book titled: The Socio – Economic, Political, Scientific, Military & Spiritual Expression Of The Holy Spirit”. The book launch took place at Starland Hotel Bonapriso, Douala, with the reputed peace crusader and international legal consultant, Ntumfor Barrister Nico Halle, as Chairman.

Going Beyond Intellectualism

Apostle Dr Ambe Valentine stated that the book, The Socio –Economic, Political, Scientific, Military And Spiritual Aspects Of The Holy Spirit, had been in his mind for many years, and that the book exemplifies his thoughts, his beliefs. On the issue of, Beyond Intellectualism that the book brings out, the Apostle said one of the big problems that religion face in the Africa today, is that everybody thinks that once you are educated, you can become a pastor. And so an engineer, a medical doctor and so on, thinks that he can become a pastor. Many Christians or believers think they can become pastors.
Apostle Ambe said this explains the reason why not all those who mount the pulpits today are real pastors. And this also explains the abuse of religion in Africa today. There are many people in wrong places. The Apostle explained that to be a real pastor goes beyond intellectualism. He said to become a real pastor is a calling. It is a gift from God, It is a mission assigned to an individual by God. It is not something for somebody to just get up in the morning and thinks that he can become a pastor, became he has a university degree or whatever.

Going Beyond Prayer

Meanwhile, another serious issue that Apostle Dr Ambe Valentine highlights as being a big problem for religion in Africa, or better still, for being another reason for the abuse of religion in Africa, is that Christians or believers are being given the false impression that prayer, whose real importance cannot be overemphasized, is the solution to everything. And so prayer warriors think that their prayer can solve all their problems, whereas prayer is supposed to a stage in a process and not an end. Pray to God for example to guide you or help give you the strength to do something fruitful, and not to pray and fold your hands and wait for manna to fall from heaven. The Apostle states that God is beyond just a praying Guide, but the Spirit of creativity and invention. He said he found that there are other attributes of the spirit of God that the Church has failed to explore.
Apostle Dr Ambe Valentine clearly brings out this issue in the summary of his book, The Socio – Economic, Political, Scientific, Military & Spiritual Expressions Of The Holy Spirit. It reads thus: “This book is a burden the Lord gave me about the church 11 years ago. It was a call about the shattered and broken state of Christians I saw for many years. They were good in prayers and fasting, spoke about a great God, but did not reflect the greatness they so much professed. It became a burden and I went for a search in the word of God to find out why. This book is an answer to all my worries and I think many will find their way out of any dilemma after reading this book. The book is actually calling on Christians to understand the full potentials of the spirit of God in their lives, and not limit Him just in praying in other tongues with Him. He is way beyond just a praying Guide, but the Spirit of creativity and inventions. This piece of work is also written to challenge Christians beyond the level of prayer. In a nutshell, it is a manual for Christians to explore the gift God bestowed upon the church in the person of the Holy Spirit”.

Challenging Spiritual Blindness

Meanwhile Apostle Dr Ambe Valentine said at the March 9, 2024 book launch in Douala, that the book, The Socio – Economic, Political, Scientific, Military & Spiritual Expressions Of the Holy Spirit, challenges spiritual blindness in the church in Africa, and prescribes a change of mentality. In the book itself, the author, Apostle Dr Ambe Valentine, better explains this issue in a section on why he wrote the book. THE MENTOR publishes the section in its entirety below.

“Why I Wrote This Book”

“As a young Christian in Church, I was uncomfortable with the way most Christians were turning out not to talk of the kind of messages they were feeding on. I saw a group of people who were holy, God – fearing, determined to serve God, but they did not reflect the God they were serving. It looked like there are certain responsibilities that are designed for unbelievers, whereas those who take on these responsibilities actually control the society. I saw great people who were good for nothing other than prayer. This naturally triggered a burden in me and I embarked on research .In the course of my research, God began to inspire me and I got to understand that the Holy Spirit is able and yearns to express himself in several dimensions.
The more I studied the phenomenon, the more I questioned the essence of prayer because it was not uncommon to find a prayer warrior who could not amount to much outside the prayer room. I found out that there are other attributes of the spirit of God that the Church has failed to explore. It was precisely along these lines that this book was born as a means of challenging the Church unto greater exploits.
As a pastor and general overseer who is involved in politics, I have had lots of backlash from other ministers of the gospel who believe that it is out of context for a pastor to delve into politics. Many still do not believe that a Christian can be stupendously rich without belonging to the occult, or without doing other unorthodox things. I have also grown up in a Church system where believers are essentially against belonging to the military under the pretext that all military men are bound for hell. When believers shy away from the executive, legislative and judicial arms of government, the occults, Freemasons take up these positions and make Laws that work against the will of God, for the land.
The vision behind this book is the spread of the kingdom of God into every sector of the economy. We must go beyond door –to door evangelism, and set our sights on the corridors of power so that we can influence more people for Jesus. There are persons you will never encounter through door – to door evangelism. You will only encounter them on the corporate ladder, in parliament, in the military, and so on and so forth. Addition – ally, there are certain laws we cannot change by prayer. The bible says that when the righteous rule, the people rejoice. The righteous do not and will not rule by prayer. They will only do so through vote count. If we do not take up this responsibility by presenting Christian candidates for elections, we will continue to complain in vain.
I have been relegated, despised and criticized and yet I maintain my stand because my convictions are very strong. This book was born out of revelation and inspiration, and not merely out of sentiments. It is my conviction that anybody who picks up this book, and reads it intently with an open heart, will become a dynamite in the hands of God, as far as world conquest is concerned”.

“His Message To His Generation Is Very Essential” – Prof Tamfuh

Prof Tamfuh Y. N. Wilson in the Foreword he wrote for Apostle Dr Ambe Valentine’s book says: ‘His message to his generation is very essential, namely that the church should study to understand the scientific, economic, political, military, social and spiritual aspects of the Holy Spirit. For many decades the Holy Spirit has been exposed as being limited to the spiritual world. This book shows us the total relevance of the Holy Spirit in all aspects of life. This is important because the material world was created by the Spirit of God from the beginning”.
Prof Tamfuh observes that the author’s level of intimacy with God can be inferred from the revelations that flow in the book, adding that such revelations will certainly help the reader over – come ignorance and remove the clouds around our minds and the Church of God. He asserts that: “The writer reveals that this is indeed time for Christians to identify specific areas where God has called them to serve Him, because if they do not find it, the wicked will continue to rule and the people will continue to groan”. He opines that the place of the Church in nation –building will be clearly identified, and will become influential, if more authors like Apostle Ambe Valentine emerge.
Prof Tamfuh notes that according to the author (Apostle Dr Ambe Valentine) of the book, The Socio – Economic, Political, Scientific, Military & Spiritual Expressions Of The Holy Spirit, we must understand that piety does not lead to poverty and Christians must use the biblical principles to pursue financial security and prosperity. “Therefore, true Christianity can be identified with good dressing, healthy and wealthy life – style, financial prosperity and most importantly, holiness. I will add that eternal will be a crowning success”, he states. Interestingly still, Prof Tamfuh goes on to point out in the Foreword that Apostle Dr Ambe accepts that God is great, but does not accept that a great God should have weak, defeated and poor children. He shares Apostle Ambe’s view that, “If God is great, His children therefore should be great”. Worth noting, that Prof Tamfuh Y. N. Wilson is the Founder of the Global Prayer Movement, and Vice Dean in – charge of Teaching and Programs, Faculty of Law and Political Science, University of Bamenda, Cameroon.

Apostle Ambe Is A Brilliant Gentleman” – Ntumfor Halle

Meanwhile speaking at the aforementioned book launch in Douala on March 9, 2024, Ntumfor Barrister Nico Halle who was the Chairman of the event, said he has followed Apostle Dr Ambe Valentine for quite a while, and that he finds him a brilliant gentleman. Ntumfor Halle is a known for his outspoken nature and reputed as a man of integrity, frankly advised Apostle Ambe who is also known for his outspokenness or frank talk, to always bear in mind that somebody who speaks the truth in our society, has more enemies than somebody who tells lies. “So you have more enemies when you speak the truth, than when you tell lies”. He advised Apostle Ambe to always strive to speak or stand for the truth, for the interest of humanity and the society.
Appreciating the book, The Socio – Economic, Political, Scientific, Military & Spiritual Expressions Of The Holy Spirit, Ntumfor Halle noted that the author, Apostle Ambe, shows that he has a mastery of his subject. Congratulating Apostle Ambe for the book, Ntumfor Halle also re-echoed the saying that behind every successful man, is a woman. He asserted that if Rev Mrs Ann Ngwa, the wife of Apostle Ambe Valentine did not stand behind him in the book project, he certainly would not have succeeded to write it. He thus equally congratulated the wife of Apostle Ambe, for the success of the book project. Worth noting that the book review at the March 9 book launch was done by Tataw Kenneth, who referred to Apostle Dr Ambe Valentine as a moving encyclopedia.
Worth noting that that at the March 9, 2024 book launch in Douala, both the Chairman of the event, Ntumfor Barrister Nico Halle, and the author of the book, Apostle Dr Ambe Valentine, avoided talking about what they do not agree on, which is the involvement of pastors in politics. That is, pastors getting into politics. Nico Halle’s stance has always been that traditional rulers (Chiefs and Fons) and pastors should not get into partisan politics.
