That is their role. I am praying that the Lord should grant them what it takes, to bring peace to the whole world”. Halle pleaded.
“I Am Not Only Concerned About Peace In Cameroon”

The British High Commissioner has what it takes to send the message to all those who are creating conflicts in different parts of the world, and making a lot of money from arms sale. That is, making a lot of money by destroying people’ lives. There is no justification for a world power to acquire arms to destroy others. The world needs peace. We all need peace, which is the most precious thing that a man can have”, Nico Halle further explained. He strongly condemned war mongers across the world.
Content Of Award Gallery / Context In Which The Awards Were Given

As for peace crusading which is his mantra, Nico Halle disclosed that he got involved in peace crusading as early as the age of 16, when he was a student, though he was then playing more the role of an assistant to his father. He explained that his father was a man of God, who used to regularly move around their locality, despite the difficult terrain then, preaching peace, reconciling people, and so on. Niico Halle disclosed that whenever he returned to his parents during holiday periods, he used to accompany his father on some of his peace crusading outings, carrying his bag, running errant for him, and so on. Nico Halle said as a good ‘apprentice’, whenever he followed his father on his peace crusading mission, he would observe closely how his father was going about it, as well as listen attentively to the message of peace that his father was delivering.
Nico Halle said that was how he developed the spirit and interest in peace crusading, though he had seen from following his father that peace crusading was, and remains, a very demanding or challenging mission. That peace crusading demand lots of personal sacrifices – sacrificing time as well as material and financial resources. Halle said he nevertheless decided to fully engage in peace crusading some 35 years ago, as a service to humanity and the society. He noted that as a faithful Christian, he also decided that one of the ways he has to serve his Almighty Father (God), was to engage in peace crusading, to God’s glory.

There Can Be No Real Peace Without Justice
The International Peace Crusader, Sir Dr Barrister Ntumfor Nico Halle, also explained that his peace crusading is combined with his crusade for social justice, for there can be no genuine peace in a society, or anywhere, if there is no justice. During that period, he supervised municipal, legislative and presidential elections, which were the only national elections in the country then. Halle recalled that during the seven year long period, there was no single election rerun in the difficult Northwest Region, where he was in charge of supervising elections. He recalled as well that he was also assigned to some other places outside the Northwest Region like Bafoussam, Douala, Nkongsamba among others, to supervise election re-runs, and everything went well.
Nico Halle said he does not condone any form of fraud or irregularity in elections, and has no kind words for people who rig elections. He recalled that he was named as Mr Clean by the population, during the seven year period he supervised elections in Cameroon as member of NEO, for the record he set in transparent elections. Halle pointed out that some of the awards he has received over the years have come as a mark of recognition, appreciation or encouragement, in his good management, or supervision of elections at home and abroad.
